The Benleva in Drumnadrochit is the ideal base for exploring Loch Ness and the surrounding area.

Situated just ½ mile from the centre of Drumnadrochit village and a short walk from the shores of Loch Ness, The Benleva is a former Church manse dating back some 300 years with a 400 year-old former hanging tree (a Spanish Chestnut) at the end of its beautiful tree-lined driveway.

Today The Benleva welcomes locals and tourists all year round, offering 11 cosy guest bedrooms with contemporary en suites.

The Benleva's bar offers local ales, including those from our very own Hanging Tree Brewery in the grounds of The Benleva... beer doesn't get much fresher than that!

 Our bar is also home to a broad range of Scottish gins and malt whiskies, alongside a great selection of wines - all served with warm, welcoming Highland hospitality!

The restaurant at The Benleva focuses on all the local favourites, from steak pie and fish and chips to locally-sourced venison, not to mention our famous breakfasts to get you started for an adventure-filled day! 

And there's a huge range of activities in the Drumnadrochit area to choose from, including walking, fishing, golfing, horse riding and, of course, Monster Hunting! Some of Scotland’s finest glens are close at hand, with the stunning Great Glen Way right on our doorstep; and the city of Inverness is just a 20-minute drive away.

The Benleva offers true Highland hospitality, with friendly welcoming service; and you will always find a local or two in the bar to help you delve into local history, point you in the direction of some must-see places or debate with until the wee hours!
